Support staff are exiting this division at an alarming rate. Totally not surprising, though, when you think about 1) how overworked we are and 2) how underpaid we are for the shit we deal with.
You want to keep your best workers? You better fucking pay them.
Guess who was picked to provide the “inspirational” article at the staff meeting tomorrow.
Me.
*evil look*

Another 6 hours’ worth of training meetings conducted today. Another 4.5 hours spent gritting my teeth at our vendor’s instructor absolutely horrid delivery of that instruction.
It. was. seriously. bad.
Talked with my boss. She couldn’t believe how poor he was. By the end of the day, we had told all the vendors (including dude) they could leave early tomorrow because of the impending snowstorm (I will take the training with Germany tomorrow), and I took the last call today with Japan, framing it as “I need practice”.
Unless he’s totally non compos mentis, the guy has to be aware that I did not need practice. I delivered that shit flawlessly. And took less time to do it, too.
I wonder how many fucking thousands we spent on that trainer. Because, dude, I should get a cut of that.
