You’d have thought I would have learned this with Michael Jordan. My old aesthetician in the ‘burbs told me once how a co-worker of hers ran into Michael Jordan coming out of her roommate’s bedroom. (MJ used to live in Highland Park) She was flabbergasted. His response? “I don’t care who you tell.” This was before he and his ex-wife, Juanita, divorced and I do believe it was because he was a womanizer. Ever after that, my opinion of him was totally destroyed.

Great player? Sure.

Great PLAYER? UNFORTUNATELY. 

You would have thought I’d have learned my lesson about not assuming any seemingly nice or “head on straight” male athletes were really…well, for real. Especially with how cynical I am to begin with.
