Komen is backtracking on its decision of three days ago. HOWEVER, it is in no way explicitly stating that it will continue to fund Planned Parenthood once its current grants are completed. Note that. Planned Parenthood will just “still be eligible”. In other words, it seems Komen is hoping to slip us a fast one and that we’ll forget.
DON’T support Komen any more. Donate to organizations like Planned Parenthood, City of Hope, Avon Walk, etc., that DO make access to critical screenings and help available for ALL. Komen is an ego trip and salary (OVER $500,000 salary) for Nancy Brinker. Komen does not care about you. They care about selling you a bunch of pink shit.
