Points schmoints
Am I the only who thinks some media and bloggers are making too much of the Blackhawks having the highest points in the West?
- Dude, it’s the Western Conference. Points change on a (seemingly) hourly basis. Teams can go from first to fifth, or anywhere in between, in almost a day.
- If the Canucks are useful for illustrating anything other than petulant douchebaggery, it’s that the President’s Trophy is pretty damn meaningless.
- The point is to get into the playoffs, where anything can happen (see both Montreal and Philly in 2010).
